Can We Smoke At Jewels?
The State of Ohio requires that there is no smoking allowed within Jewels Dance Hall.  So Jewels has opened their (soon to be under roof) outside patio to smokers with heated smoking stations (during the winter months) and seating.
   
How Old Do I Have To Be To Get In?
Jewels requires their patrons to be 21 years or age or older to enter, purchase, and or consume alcohol. However, minors can attend Jewels during special family events or on Wednesday nights (during line dance lessons) but they must be accompanied by an adult (over the age of 21).
    
Has Jewels always been a bar?
No, Jewels Dance Hall started out as a dairy barn for cows. Then as legend has it, the dairy farmer who ran the barn made the facility into a bar for his daughter, Jewel (hence the name Jewels Dance Hall) following his retirement.
    
Does Jewels Accept Checks?
No. But we do accept cash, Visa, and Mastercard. We also have an ATM machine on location for your convenience.
      
Can We Run A Tab?
Yes.  However you must use a Visa or Mastercard to establish the tab.
    
Is There A Cover Charge?
Yes. Jewels charges $3.00 per person on Friday and Saturday night. 
     
What If I Party Too Much?
Jewels will call you a cab to return you home safely, or to one of the many hotels on the Interstate. Please understand that you are responsible for the cab fair or hotel costs if you should need one.  Jewels highly suggests that you bring a designated driver to get you home no matter how much alcohol you decide to consume. Please do not drink and drive.
   
Is There A Dress Code?
Yes, Hillbilly or Redneck attire. Plus shirts, pants (or skirts/dresses), boots or shoes, are required.
    
What Are The Chances Of Catching A National Act At Jewels?
The door is always open to visiting national acts who want to swing by and have a few drinks and party before hitting the road.  You never know who may stop by.
      
Where Can I Park?
Anywhere there isn't a flower bed, septic system, private driveway, private property, or intersection.  The Austinburg Mill, the Austinburg Township Hall, and area businesses (directly across the street) have always been friendly to our patrons when it comes to parking.
